About me
My background includes working in the insurance industry for 15 years within some of the largest insurance companies as an underwriter. I received both my undergrad and graduate degrees from Regis University. My MBA is in Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business. Prior to completing my MBA I underwrote Management Liability policies that included Employment Practices Liability. While underwriting these policies I completed the RPLU insurance designation (Registered Professional Liability Underwriter). The designation also included Employment Practices Liability emphasis and the study of EEOC, FMLA, ADA and Fair Labor Act.
I really enjoy learning and expanding my knowledge on a variety of subjects. Today, my focus is on Environmental Insurance for Contractor’s & Consultants who perform environmental services.
The newer generation has grown up with every need being filled immediately so they do not understand the concept of waiting/earning for anything. With the increase in technology and the overall good economy before 2009 we have spoiled our next generation. By this I mean "we" as parents never made them go without or work for their immediate needs. Children of upper-class and upper middle class are taught they are entitled and should not have to work for things in life. Doing homework and attending class on a regular basis seems to reflect their misguided thinking.
