I have started the answer and then asked them to finish the answer. and still I get very short answers and most of the time incomplete. Let me give an example what is the correct procedure to adjust brakes? answer tighten the nut back it off retighten and set clearance. 	<div class="river_content_display">working with small groups I believe is esenial. I let my students pick their own lab groups and they all sit together. I feel this removes some of the tension. They are more at ease when we do reviews or studying. The answers are very often collective and if it is incorrect I just say ok lets find the answer together. Usually my class is very at ease and that takes the pressure off of the student and me.</div>					<!-- </p> -->

Would I encourage some one that was having a difficult time to seek out some one else in the class for help or tutoring ? absolutely I generally take people at their word. Maybe this is a flaw in my way of thinking. I would rather see what I can do to help a student  than try and catch some one cheating. The more I can promote the excitment the more participation I can get. We all know that things flow, questions get asked, with the more participents we get. Tell me what's different between these and the ones on your car? when we were through with the discussion the relieve in the eyes told their own stories. I gained the students confidence then and there. After that what ever came up the students and I deal with without any "hoopla". I need to nurish and develope my student so that they are employable and to the finish since my students will have to deal with the public my end customer is the public. I have started the answer and then asked them to finish the answer. and still I get very short answers and most of the time incomplete. Let me give an example what is the correct procedure to adjust brakes? answer tighten the nut back it off retighten and set clearance. 	<div class="river_content_display">working with small groups I believe is esenial. I let my students pick their own lab groups and they all sit together. I feel this removes some of the tension. They are more at ease when we do reviews or studying. The answers are very often collective and if it is incorrect I just say ok lets find the answer together. Usually my class is very at ease and that takes the pressure off of the student and me.</div>					<!-- </p> -->

Tell me what's different between these and the ones on your car? when we were through with the discussion the relieve in the eyes told their own stories. I gained the students confidence then and there. After that what ever came up the students and I deal with without any "hoopla".
