About me

I earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Andres Bello Catholic University – UCAB – Caracas, Venezuela.

I worked in Administratives areas in Rasara Travel LLC, Jacksonville; Magiff International, Interbrokers Insurance, A Touch of Class, and ITINET Innovative Telematics in Miami, FL, USA. I worked in Finances in M.M. Fintec, C.A. Investment Bank, Lagoven . Oil Company, and Venezuelan Navy. Last rank: Lieutenant Commander in Caracas, Venezuela.

I have participated in activities in community work in: Boy Scouts of America. (Troop Committee Member) Scouts of Venezuela. Treasurer. – St. Louis Catholic Church. Miami, FL. Spanish Speaker in Married Couples Seminars (Covenant). Certified Lector. – St Jose Catholic Church. Jacksonville, FL Crown Ministry. – Toastmasters International Club, Jacksonville, FL (English Speakers Club).

I earned my Master of Arts in Education Specialization in Online Education in UNAD Florida. My final project was a study to assess two types of platforms of online learning comparing and contrasting both in computers and mobile devices. The study serves as a basis for the assessment of learning platforms applicable to mobile devices. I have been assisting in online courses in WebCT, eCollege, Blackboard, Moodle, and Canvas. She is a Competent Communicator and Treasurer of Top O’ The Rock Toastmasters (www.toporock.com). I have been online professor in UNAD Florida since 2013.

 

From 2013 until 2016 I was Academic Director of the English Program for the Department of Meta, Colombia. An international project between UNAD Florida, UNAD Colombia, and the government of Department of Meta, Colombia.

 

As Online Education Specialist  I had to re-design all English programs created by UNAD Florida for higher education and adapt them for middle and high school students and offline platforms. I also designed and adapted the instructional guides for English teachers and project coordinators. I also created an ESOL immersion program for high school students and English teachers. I am fully Bilingual (English and Spanish)

 

 Actually I am online professor in UNAD Florida.

Hi George,

I agred too. Online courses have many advantages. One of them is the freedom for students and teachers because they can access to the course in their time in asyncronus form. However, online courses demand more discipline because the students need to accomplish with the due date of the assignments and tasks.
