The content in this section allows for instructors to know how to take the best measures when dealing with all types of learners especially those that can be of a challenge. It gives us the break down of the different personality types of learners. Very helpful information.

I truly like the content in this segment. Keeping the students engaged in synchronous diaglog can be challenging. Typically you know which students will respond to the discussions in the chat and those who just sit quietly in the dark. What I find helpful with one particular class is calling for each student to provide feedback to the discussion, then one that feedback is given, then I petition for other students to comment and ask questions which then pulls the quiet discusser (if I may make up that word...lol)  out of their shell urging them to interact more.

I can not find my previous post so I am posting again. I like to find creative ways to keep the students engaged and not so focused on being always in the classroom especially with the COVID-19 crises. I often have jam sessions with them in class, or play games relating to their subject matter which has dual purpose.

The things I have done to engae the students to help keep them interested and not burned out is to have musical jam sessions right before class to lighten the mood. Other times, I have given them a virtual passport and taken them via Google Earth to various places such as Dealth Valley in California, Toykyo Museum, Smithsonian, and Monterey Bay Aquarium.

The content mentioned is something that we already practice. But I believe that it is helpful information for those new to online instruction. There was great information provided.
