It is important to stay compliant to remain fair & protect the integrity of the prospective student, yourself, and the institution. 

I learned about the many regulatory bodies that govern an institution and how important it is to abide by all of their rules & statutes. 

I learned that life experience can sometimes be applied to applicable courses and that there is an extensive process in determining whether or not that experience will count towards class credits or hours. 

Ongoing training is beneficial as it will provide the representative to have more information regarding their institution which ultimately benefits both the rep and prospective students. 

I learned that is important to ensure that I am aware of any changes in policies and procedures as well as anything pertaining to admissions and the institution including rules regarding transferability of credits. 

I learned that it is important to partner with the placement & career services during the admissions process so that the prospective student can gain more verifiable information about potential jobs, sites and specialties where they can work as well as potential salary as a new graduate that has to align with Fair Consumer Practices. 

I learned the importance of the catalog and how it goes hand in hand with the enrollment agreement. I also learned that the student is not considered enrolled until they have met all of the requirements and how Fair Consumer Practices plays a role throughout this entire process. 

I learned important terms needed to know for recruitment and enrollment which will not only benefit me but prospective students as well.
