About me

I am a lifelong lover of the entertainment industry, and my journey began in Houston, Texas, where my passion for acting, writing and directing first took root.  After earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sam Houston State University, and working in television, I finally took the leap and moved to Los Angeles to pursue storytelling in all its forms - bringing ideas to life and sharing narratives that inspire. I worked on some projects at Walt Disney Studios before joining the Los Angeles Film School in 2003 as an Admissions Representative. Over the years, my dedication to helping others believe in their dreams led to my promotion to Director of Admissions in 2016, where I managed a team serving thousands of prospective students worldwide. In 2020, I became Vice President of Admissions after helping the school achieve one of its strongest years in enrollment and retention. Today, as Vice President of International and High School Outreach, I have the privilege of connecting with communities, students and families across the globe - sharing what our school offers and, more importantly, empowering people to pursue their goals without fear.  Entertainment is truly in my blood, and one of my greatest gifts is inspiring others to trust in their potential and believe they can achieve anything.

Activity

All my life I've heard "Leaders are born, not made," interesting to see that it's a myth.

Interesting to learn the various myths about mangers.

Leadership and motivated employees are important to an organization. Being able to use various styles of leadership helps in dealing with different types of scenarios. Great training overall!
