Here, I learned that successful learning is both student-centered and instructor-driven, and that the instructor should have a well-designed learning plan for the students for learning to be best facilitated.

The "Checklist to Critique Your Group Project" is a great tool for students working in groups.  Thanks for including this!  It will be helpful to see how the students felt the group members contributed to the project and how well the members felt they understood/learned the material by completing the group project.

This can help the students self-reflect and facilitators improve the group project and the group project experience.

I love the idea of self-reflection and would love to incorporate this into my online learning class.  This will really give online students the opportunity to think about what they learned and how they can apply what they learned.

It is interesting to note that student-centered learning is being driven more and more because of the online learning environment.  My full-time job is at a community college and, we have been really trying to get away from the "sage on the stage" type of teaching to more active learning.  

I do like how the learning environment was broken down into three components.  It makes this something to be aware of when trying to effectively reach the students.
