Hello Everyone, After reviewing the material I was able to further understand the importance of instructing students of various learning styles. A visual learner would rather read lessons, view pictures, graphs, or other visual props to support their learning. An auditory learner would rather listen to lessons or tape lessons to gather an understanding of what is being presented. A kinesthetic learner is a person that would rather have a hands-on approach to learning by actively taking notes, working on a project, or actively highlighting material to be active while reading the material as they are learning. In reviewing the lesson, it is important to share with students various techniques that will effectively assist them in retaining information. Through varying strategies students are able to make the best of their learning environment and truly strive for success. As instructors, it is important to share these various strategies and give them numerous opportunities to be successful.

The most important manners and patterns that should be developed within an online setting are the interactions within the discussion forums and expectations of the course. When responding to the forum students will view the instructors response and the content provided to frame their own responses. This will allow the students to view the importance of greeting their peers and adding content and questions to further expand upon the discussion threads. Also, setting expectations in terms of assignments is also another important element in developing a positive and productive online setting.

When implementing technology into the online setting it is important to ensure that tools you are using are working properly, that the students are aware of the uses, and that it will further add to the online setting in terms of sharing information. Technology is a great tool when implemented properly with proper guidance. When students are able to effectively implement new information through technology the course will be enhanced.

Hello All,
This is a great question, will online learning replace the traditional classroom setting? I would say that the traditional setting will continue to have traditional students. Within a time where the economy is is hit hard the online setting is sometimes the only place where individuals can work and still attain their academic goals. I love the online setting and can not wait to view the growth.

Within the online setting it is so important to be active and further expand upon the discussion threads. I have found that through the interaction of the forum students are welcomed and eager to continue expanding upon their thoughts. When students are able to make connections to the material they are then able to implement this knowledge to make advancements within their educational pursuits.
