Teachers need to take many factors into consideration when transferring a F2F course to an online course. They must consider accessability, objectives and make an organized and consistant layout. They also must assess and evaluate their online course often.

It is important for the teacher as a facilitator to engage the students in many ways beyond learning. They need to be an administrator, technology helper, and a social administrator.

In an online environment it is important to establish if you will conduct a synchronis or asynchronis classroom. I personally would like asynchronis and not have to coordinate all the students through time zones. 

From this module, I have learned there are many technological tools an online instructor can use to enhance online learning. They can use blogs, virtual classrooms, wikis, online journals, and podcasts to moniter and enhance student learning. 

In this module, I learned what is not a reasonable accommodation for students with disabilities. I learned it is not reasonable to make accommodations if it poses a threat to anyone. You should also not make accommodations that make a substantial change to the curriculum. I also learned that the Universal Design for Learning is a set of resourses one can use to make lessons which can easily be accommodated for students with disabilities. 

I have learned that there are several kinds of mental disorders as stated in the DMS IV. It is important as teachers to focus on the student and not the disorder. There are several things a teacher can do and shouldn't do in order to accommodate the learners. 

From this module I learned that there are several accommodations a teacher can make for students with learning disabilities and ADHD. They can let another student help with notes, move them closer to the instrucor, you can use audio and visual technology and give them more time to work. 

From this topic I have learned a great deal. I learned teh different forms of disabilities I may witness in the classroom. I have also learned how to accommodate different students with different disabilities. It will be important to discuss the accommodations with them and apply them to the classroom. 

From this section I have learned that schools should provide a professional to be sure that students with disabilities are being accommodated properly and in accordance with the law. I have also learned that teachers should sit with the student to determine the best way to accommodate them in the classroom. 

So far from this course, I have learned that students with physical and mental disabilities are often are medicated which is not a cure. Medications are generally a way for the student to manage his or her disability..
