Activity

When employers are engaged with colleges the benefit can be monetary with upgrades as gifting to the university.

Work together(by listening) with the student to learn their technique and then work on the shortcoming to make it a positive effort for the student's progress towards the needed goal.

Being careful not to give information that is absolute or using superlatives is key to gaining trust with anyone.

Being mindful of the company we represent and the prospective employees or students who might become a part of this University.

To treat the resume document as a quartered piece by placing most important info, i.e. skills, certifications, and education in quarter 1 or left hand top corner, and work experience in bottom left corner.  This helps the interviewer to know quickly what skills and certifications the candidate has relevant to the position immediately.

If treated equally, they will be held to the same professional standards as the rest of the employees and there should not be problems.

Honesty and staying informed is required to maintain a healthy work environment.  One must protect, themselves, the company, and its stakeholders.

Excellent and very helpful.  I really appreciated getting certified for CPRW.  So glad that it exists!

The Career Services Department impacts the entire institution. From the moment a student walks through the door - the entire faculty and staff including Career Services Advisors are responsible for connections inside and outside the institution employer connections.  We call this "networking."  The Bigger Picture proves that students, faculty, staff, graduates, employers, and the community all benefit from a well run and networked Career Services.

My next step will be to get an email out to employers with the services ECPI Career Services Dept. will offer them to generate confidence and networking on a comprehensive level.
