I have been a nurse all my working life, and my last assignment was  as a Perioperative nurse at Naval medical Center San Diego, CA.  I specialized in quality and patient safety (CPHQ, CPPS, CNOR).  I had a great career in the Navy, traveling all over the world and living abroad.  I am currently into Yoga, health and wellness, and gardening.  I am very excited to shared my knowledge and experience with young minds especially when it comes to human factors limits, outcome bias and what we have learned from root cause analysis about medical errors.
