Multiple tools from muliple stakeholders are needed to provide feedbach that will give information needed to make changes to inprove my on-line course.

When students are provided with a rubric for self-assessment they realize the importance of the objectives and relate the designated criteria to their work, this is  a learning opporunity. Providing meaningfull feedback supplements and reinforces the learning process. Such feedback enhances the students exoeriences and success. 

Instructors must find and use strategies to ensure students arelearning and applying what they have learned in targeted activities. Encouraging effective communication, utilizating the tools available will be helpful.

Following course framework is important to plan and develop the course. Utilizing course content to create the module and then using LMS to provide structure to the content is important. Consistency  throughout the entire course and developing other courses is necessary to assist the learner in successfully passing all courses.

Effectiveness of on-line learning

email messaging is the most convenient method of communication. Managing how we use email can be daunting. Conflict resolution, counselling , privacy issues, messaging, responding in a timely fashion , following company policy and procedures must be all taking into consideration. Working with students, guidelines must be set up and strickly enforced. We all have a lot to learn.

Asynchronous discussions encourage reflection, critical thinking, and more student involment. Whereas, synchronous disussions are more like chat rooms.  Each has its advantages and disadvantages. Participation in learning and getting the students involved is key to their success. Using feedback is also an important tool to assist students in the learning process.

Instructors must know how to influence, persuade, inspire and energize their students. . Students will feel comfortable and secure  knowing their instructor will be supportive and interested in their success. Presenting a short biography of oneself and showcasing expertize will help give gtudents confidence in the instructors ability. .I believe sharing both teacher and student information will lead to a more comfortable and confident environment.

The instructor must familiarize themself with the course CMS.  Knowledge of the delivery techniques and strategies. The instructor must give clear guidelines to students so they will be comfortable with the program. Common goal sharing in an expectation of both teacher and student.

Being prepared to teach an online course. Knowing the course content .Clearly communicate the course expectations, rules and criteria so that the student and the teacher have a common goal. Work with the students to famaliarize them with the course.
