Dr. Cynthia Vessel is a professor in the General Education department.  Currently, I focus lessons around students learning how to benefit from their learning style, how to retain and connect knowledge, especially in the general education courses, to their major courses and help bring underprepared students to college level in a short timeframe.  The area of retention is also an interest.  I am writing to find the voice and space for professors to be included at the table where administrators make decisions.
