I think integrating group activities help the student become familar with the other classmate, not just their "buddy sitting next to them.

Task Prioritization

I usually try to make a daily task list, as well as a weekly task list. I find this to be a helpful tool so that I am able to do a planner for the week so I know what I need to do by the end of the week. At the end of the week (Friday @ 5:00Pm) those task that were not completed will be my "homework" over the weekend. This gives me the incentive to complete my daily and weekly task list, or my weekend could be consumed by doing things that I should have been able… >>>

This course made me evaluate my own type of teaching. This being only my third semester teaching,I am always looking for a way to improve my student interestes to learn. You never now you could have an "Enstein" in your class and if you are not teaching correctly he/she could lose interest in you class. Thanks for the knowledge.

]]> Just completed ED209, I felt that this course offered understanding in the increase need of student becoming aware of the need for post-secondary education. 60% of job look for their new applicants to have further their education beyond a high school diploma. I felt this course open my eyes to see the need for more involvement with student prior to graduation from high school, to let them know that this educational program can open many doors in the future for our graduates. The course also help me to understand the importance of needing to understand how student need to be taught with different styles of teaching in order to have student get all the information from
