<p>Recognized by the Texas Education Agency for an innovative program “On Your Own” utilizing the language skills: reading writing, listening, grammar and word puzzles.  This program led to the W. H. Gaston School being selected as a demonstration school which brought teacher from all over Texas to observe the program.</p>
<p>Made presentations on the “On Your Own” program at Hurst Euless Bedford annual English workshop.</p>
<p>Selected Teacher of the Year for the Quinlan Independent School District 1998-99</p>
<p>Served on The Eastfield Committee which redesigned the English 1302 curriculum for Hybrid Classes, 2007.</p>
