I thought this class was actually very interesting. I liked how it broke down the soft skills into categories. I was aware of the people skills necessary to relate to people but thinking of these in conjunction with workplace behaviors actually added a new dimension in thinking about these people skills. I lumped people skills into what makes soft skills not thinking about how workplace skills added to people skills made up soft skills. I enjoyed the course very much and found the information realistic and useful. All stress not being bad but sometimes productive is very important in everyday life. When we allow stress to overpower and inhibit our ability to perform or enjoy our lives it becomes not only detrimental to our productivity but to our overall health and well being. The course, I think, did an excellent job in developing those concepts.

I agree the class was very enlighting and thought provoking. I liked the simplicity of the steps given. I have experienced many difficult and stressful jobs in past and understanding the simple steps of increased vulnerability and decreased power actually dimminishes the stress and puts it in perspective. It gave me a sense of empowerment just knowing how those two play into the dynamic of excessive worry. I agree the systematic approach was very helpful in stress reduction.

I very much enjoyed participation in this stress management course. The presentation and materials I found interesting and easy to follow with numerous good examples given in each section. I know the material presented will be helpful to me and will make my life easier overall in managing daily stressors. Thanks for a great course.

Good class overall. It is good to review learning styles and hear what other instructors have used successfully in their classes over time. I did enjoy the opportunity to refresh my educational methods and gain new insights.

Obviously my statement in the middle of the above paragraph is a bit confusing. What I was trying to state was that people skills with workplace behaviors are together what make up soft skills. As we develop and enhance our soft skills we can better handle difficult interactions and situations.
