This helped me understand that students may also have a specific learning disability combined with a behavioral diagnosis such as ADHD or ADD.

This helped me understand that it's not just the auditory but also the reading comprehension that is affecting the student ability to comprehend the material.

As an instructor is important to set an optimal learning environment for the students, and especially identifying disabilities such as PTSD or TBI.  

This module helps with identifying students who are dealing with PTSD. As an instructor identifying this early can aid in students' overall success.  

This module is good for seeing the research that proves that TBI and PTSD can be linked. 

As an instructor and military veteran, I can empathize with students dealing with PTSD, but also understand that it comes in different forms. This module explains the statistics and the characteristics of PTSD to aid in identifying students who might be dealing with it.

Opening activities to aid in preparation for a project or assignment, has been very helpful. 

As teachers, we need to adjust the methods of instruction to reach all students. Students learn differently and knowing that early can help the student's progress.

Getting to know the type learners your students are crucial, and by asking what they like to do such as hobbies and interests can help. 

Using the idea of mind mapping and using verbal and auditory to aid in learning material.
