I have learned that Noncompliance can ruin a students outlook on their education. This can lead to many different negative outcomes such as withdrawal, claims filed, negative media, and loss of trust.  

I plan on applying what I've learned by following Ogles Values of Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, Excellence, and Service to Customers. I intend to be fully transparent and deliver documented facts with the end goal to change a students life for the better.

I have learned that what I do and what I say is so important because it is affecting a person's life. They are basing their future life plans based on the information I give them and I need to represent the school with the facts. Substantial Misrepresentation can happen in many different areas and I need to answer questions carefully to not influence a student based on misrepresenting.

I plan on applying it by representing the school using facts and having competitive integrity. Also, by letting them know that transferring credits is always up to the receiving institution's discretion.

I have learned that when it comes to graduation, placement, and licensure rate I need to give them exactly the documented numbers and to avoid superlatives.

I intend to apply this by continuing to read the information word for word as Ogle asks us to do. This will keep me from making a misrepresentation when giving the student this information.

I have learned that all Disclosure and Representations should be made upfront and be accurate and in compliance. It all starts with admissions regarding the graduation, placement, and licensing rates, transferability of credits, career outlook, and the art of interacting virtually.

I intend to apply it by making sure the student has the catalog, answering questions during the interview, completing the application with them, and passing them on to FA for any financial questions.

I learned that the Regulatory Triad includes the US Department of Education, the institutional and programmatic accreditors, and the state Regulatory boards and agencies, that all work together to help ensure quality education and outcomes.

I have learned from this module that compliance comes down to motive. The "why" behind what we do. If our focus is on the students and their being able to make informed decisions then we have a duty to compliance.

They are deciding to make a huge change in their lives with a goal of a better future and that requires us to practice a culture of compliance by being truthful and transparent and making sure they understand our mission and high standards.
