As simple as it sounds, I find that getting enough sleep does wonders for my stress levels and my productivity. Staying up late every night and "cramming" may have worked in grad school, but as a middle-aged adult with two small children, I need my sleep!

I have always liked essay exams for higher level college courses. In my opinion, essays give a student a better opportunity to demonstrate his/her mastery of the material and the ability to apply what has been learned (as opposed to multiple choice and/or true/false exams). However, my grading is overwhelming! Grading essays and term papers seem to take over my life! I love the points made in this module...having students highlight or underline the key points of each answer. This technique seems to streamline the grading process, and also serves to reinforce the key concepts to the students, as well.… >>>

I have read through most of the posts in this forum and I agree with so many of you.
My personal issue is the obstacle of control. I often feel as if my school, students, and other external demands are in control of my time. I already make a to-do list, but I am also seeking other tips to better manage my time and to keep me in control of my job, my life, and my time!
