Activity

Active listening shows that you care and are not distracted. This can facilitate trust. 

Students are truly our customers. We must treat our students with respect. 

Finding resources and assisting with student's needs may facilitate trust and growth. 

Creating portfolios can increase productivity and self esteem.

Instructors can contribute to student empowerment by building confidence and guiding ways to become successful. 

Although motivation comes in different forms, it can improve student satisfaction and willingness to learn. 

I believe both intrinsic and extrinsic motivators should both be implied for certain situations, but they are both important and necessary. 

Security and autonomy for the student. I believe if the student learns and understands the content being taught, they will have feel secure, along with having a syllabus, written directions, and expectations. Communication can be a big factor here. If the student feels they are not prepared, autonomy for the student will be for them to be encouraged to communicate with the instructor. 

Technology is always expanding and growing, being able to grow will also help us as instructors to share up to date knowledge with our students. 

Team work is about collaboration, creating a space for sharing ideas, and functioning as a unit. I believe encouraging team work for our students is an essential component for future growth. This will allow students to challenge their own morals and beliefs when it comes to a hard situation, and to not be afraid to ask for help.
