My pronouns are she/her/hers, and I was born and raised in Denver, CO. I identify as Latina, and attended Metropolitan State University as a first-generation college student. I'm passionate about work that helps to level the playing field and eliminate barriers for minoritized students. I currently work at the Community College of Aurora (CCA) as the Assistant Director of Sector Partnerships & Corporate Collaboration. I support the instituition's mission to expand partnerships with employers, and community organizations for our Career Tech Ed programs, and oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the CTE advisory boards. I actively pursue ways to engage those partners in mutually beneficial ways for our students, programs, and institution as a whole.
