Water is definately one of my stress relivers. I find that when I am feeling run down, water seems to be the only panacea to my headaches, runny nose, itching eyes, fatigue and irritability.

I definately have been a victim of my own stressors. When I decompress and monitor my path, time management is always at the epicenter of my stress. Over the years, I developed ways to cope by making lists and learning how to prioritize the things I needed to do in both my personal and professional life.

Short answer questions are just as good as essay questions in most courses. What i have found in and agree that there can be a lot of time wasted not only putting together essay questions, but also grading them. The other thing is that if an instructor is goingto ask students to underline their main words in their esay answers, then, it is more effective to create a short answer test. I have found that essay tests can be intimidating and all around can be a big time wasting venture.

I had to adopt making lists early in my teaching career becasue I was often overwhelmed as well as suffering from immediacy.

Visible disabilities are one thing invisible disabilities tend to be overlooked, partly becasue individuals that have them are trying to hide them or they are not acknowledges and accomodated by the instructor( When applicable).

What I have learend in this unit has solidified what I have witnessed in the classroom. I have seen the apprehension adult learners have especially with courses that involve the use of a computer. Conversely,the younger student population tends to be overly confident with courses that involve the use of computers and then they tend to make too many mistakes.

To be a contributory member of any organization, one has to understand the culture within the organization. For example when one is hired at an organization, he/she must closely watch the culture in order to find how one fits in. Failure to do so can result in a disconnect that can cause unproductivity and discomfort in the workplace.

I have witnessed many students with a low IQ be saved by their EQ. Most often faculty are inspired by students whose EQ is honest and full of determination.

Have you heard, "Are you in the business of teaching or in the teaching business? " This is a statement that tends to confuse many people. In my opinion, either way one look at the statement, if a educational facility wants to stay in business, it must create products(graduates) that are useful to employers and the community at large. Through good business practices of customer service and educating students, the education business will strive.

I agree with this notion because if one is not known, they begin to fell that they do not belong. A sense of belonging is what keeps students coming to the school an dinto the classroom. One way or another, students need to connect with their school. In my observation, student led and faculty sponsored organizations serve a relatable community for many students.
