	<div class="river_content_display">I usually have a better than average academic success rate. However. I wonder how much improved I might be were I to be more inline with this effect? I am anxious to update my opening communications implementing this device. There all always a number of students that are struggling to some degree. It should prove interesting to be more mindful of the communication to those individuals. I can recall the positive results  of some communications but have not realized if my statements were inline with the Pygmalion effect.  TO BE CONTINUED.</div>					<!-- </p> -->

	<div class="river_content_display"><p>Every student in each class is the most knowledgably individual in that room respective to some subject. The challenging issue is determining what that subject is. Once discovered, one can initiate a reversed role situation whereby the educator becomes the learner.  This has many positive effects, one of which provides a visual means for the rest of the students to recognize that there is always room for knowledge & the educator turned learner can ask questions to gain that information without the shame that seems to tag with the lack of that knowledge. Students need some level of assurance that information has meaning in their direction or the value of the experience is lost. Not to mention attention. Those experience or the link that suggests to the learning that one first hand knowledge & the communication validates oneâ&#128;&#153;s position. I have also found that communicating oneâ&#128;&#153;s successes & more importantly, oneâ&#128;&#153;s failures in a given subject has multiple values. Be it, age, position, title, education, familiarity or whatever. However, even with great variances in these ares between people, eventually, a comfort level of communcation may exist whereby first name use becomes the comfortable norm. I have found that the sooner I learn & use student's first & last names, the greater the probability of estabishing a well-rounded zone of comfortable communication. After all, we all call our friends by there first names don't we.
