Very informative session. It has helped me to view questions in a new light. I will definitely be implementing some more Q&A in my sessions with students. Also, how to accept and encourage responses to questions - great insight!

After reading this section, I was jotting down ideas to do with class in our next term and a couple of ideas for this term. It definitely got my creative juices going, in order to achieve the ultimate goal to make the instruction more palatable and meaningful.

Informative as to the online challenges faced in communication. What is the responsibility of the student and that of the instructor for a successful online environment.

These sessions have helped in understanding communication for students - each level I2S, S2I and S2S is important, and there are definite ways to make the communication more inclusive and beneficial for all. I will definitely be utilizing some of these key concepts.

The checklist is vital, that's something I place on the board as part of the objectives to cover in class, it helps keep me focused and on schedule since there's a short amount of time to cover each item. Thanks for the note pad idea, that will be a life-saver.

Know your subject and be excited about teaching it!! I strive for that in every session but there are days the lesson requires stuff I'm not excited about...but I should be excited anyway b/c this reflects on how my class absorbs the subject matter as well. Thank you.

I'm a newbie at this online course instruction, so I have some apprehension towards it. The information in this module has helped me to know and understand how to approach the course(s) and their content. Definitely becoming familiar with the CMS is key in order to make it more successful for both myself and the student. Engaging the student in meaningful learning is key as well as connecting with his/her learning style and providing activities to enhance their learning not merely giving them busywork to complete.
