Stay motivated as an instructor, so the student will stay motivated as well. If an instructor finds him or herself losing the motivation, take a step back and think about how you can get the student involved in their education process. How can you help the students learn and apply that knowledge to their field of student to be able to get employed. The instructor should continue with their learning process to stay up to date with the lastest technology and teaching styles.

Instructors should show respect to the students and develop a trust with the students as a whole. Instructor should demonstrate a variety of learning style for the many different learning styles of the students, and understand the difference between your traditional student and the adult learner.

Knowing Your Students
Student who are right out of high school prefer to be passive students where there is more structure. While the more adult students prefer to be active students, they like to be engaged in the process of their learning right away. The instructor should set the atmosphere of the classroom on the very first day to set the tone for the rest of the term. It should be positive, and open, letting the students know that they will be involved their learning process.

Adult Learners
Adult Learners are not your traditional students, meaning that they are not right out of high school. An adult learner has been in the work field for some time and would like to apply their working experience to the classroom. Adult learners may feel apprehensive at first about returning to the classroom. The instructor should assure the adult learner by encouraging and acknowledge well done work.

By integrating many different teaching tools will add variety of learning in the classroom. An instructor should never stand behind the podium and lecture all class, and never just read from a book or power point. You will have many different students in the class with different learning styles that you as an instructor will have to accommodate. Some students learn by audio, while other students will learn by visual, and still another student will learn best by hands on. Measuring Objectives
Objectives are a list of knowledge that the student should be able to complete at the end of the class. The objectives have to be able to be measured in a way to see if the student has an understanding of the objective. The objective could be measured in demonstration, where the student would have to physically demonstrate a procedure like assembling a car engine. The objective could also be measured by the student taking a test.

When developing a Lesson Plan for your class you should include the name of the instructor and the date. It should also include the Lesson Plan Title, the Course Subject, Requisite Level, Field Standards, A list of Objectives, a Rationale, a list of Materials needed for the class all Procedures that are required and an assessment Strategy.

Know your students
When preparing for a class, first know what the objectives are. An instructor must have great knowledge of the material to teacher the students. Plan a lesson plan that will cover all the objectives. On the first day of class introduce yourself and explain to the students what your interest are and experience in the field or subject being taught. Take assessment on what the student already know about the subject being taught. You could do this buy testing, asking what classes the students has taken in the past and quizzes.

In order to set the stage for student success would be demonstrated on the first day of class by the instructor. The instructor’s delivery of the class sets the mood of the class for the entire term. To achieve a positive first day experience for the students, the instructor provides pertinent information about the course. First the instructor would ensure to the students that by enrolling in the course it will benefit them in their field of work. An instructor should know the learning styles of the adult student population, to keep the students interested and engaged in class participation. With an adult class, there will be varieties of student ages, and with that, their individual learning styles. Knowing this information, the instructor should deliver a variety of learning styles to accommodate every student in class
