Hello everyone! My name is Cinamon Astourian, and I’m thrilled to be your instructor for this ultrasound course.
I have been a practicing sonographer and radiologic technologist for over 20 years, with extensive hands-on experience in abdomen, OB/GYN, breast, vascular, and interventional procedures. I currently serve as a Lead Sonographer at Sharp HealthCare in San Diego.
My teaching approach is built on a foundation of "servant leadership." I believe in fostering a supportive learning environment that motivates students to achieve excellence. We will bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and the demands of a real clinical environment. You can expect a curriculum focused on developing strong technical skills, effective communication, and the ability to navigate complex clinical workflows.
