Admissions training is very important, especially for institutional and regulatory changes. It's effective for us to gain a refresher understanding of the material annually.

This section discussed how our organizational structure can support the admissions department and our incoming students. Understanding the policies and procedures in our admissions meeting are essential for us to be up-to-date, and well informed for our knowledge and for the school.

Student services and marketing is an essential part of the student experience. These departments allow students to know the program to its full extent as well as providing students resources on how to be successful during their time attending classes.

Understanding the admissions process and requirements is one of the most vital parts of the job. It's important to make sure that you are fully informed before meeting with students, so they would have the most up-to-date, first-class information prior to attending their program. 

I have been in my role as an admissions coordinator for almost a year now, and I'm re-certifying for my FL certification. I love my job and getting the chance to help students get enrolled into their program. I work for a trade school, so it's awesome to see the lifecycle of the student play out in front of me. This module was very insightful, and allowed me to regain my knowledge and refresh my vocabulary. Looking forward to finishing this course :)

Hello! This is my first full-time position in Admission, and this module was very helpful. It gave me an understanding on how the admissions process goes and how we can be effective representatives in the field. I found the Admissions Resource Notebook section insightful because it allows us to gather information about our institutions and allows us to work off of and add notes to it when policies and procedures change, and to keep up to date with our institutions admission processes.
