One of my biggest resistances is 'being scheduled'. Now, of course, I'm a grown up and have a functional work life, but I still have a resistance to scheduling everything like I might shrivel up or something. However, I know more now why scheduling (with suffient free time) will actually help me be even more efficient and possibly get more done with less effort by staying on track. I appreciated this course for sure!

Normally, I find that having a logical flow to a presentation helps with information intake. I can also be a little 'ethereal' when it comes to the subject matter I can cover in a classroom, so, I have to make sure there is a step-by-step flow and logical conclusion to any of my classes. Breaking up lecture with an activity or some study time guided by me I find to also be helpful at allowing the material to sink in.

I enjoyed the course. I'm starting a new phase of my professional career that will require more goal setting than previous positions. This course helped me focus on a better 'how to' and "why" when it comes to goal setting and accomplishment. Great course.

Just went through the material, now it's time to put it to action. Questioning in the Classroom...Have always wanted to do this more effectively and now I have the tools. Get to try it out tonight. Wish me luck!
I teach Anatomy & Physiology without many models at my disposal, so, creating interactive lectures has always been a challenge. Also, there are concepts and 'bolded words' that just need to be disussed and covered. Sometimes covering material does not lend itself to small groups. I have decided to look at each lecture section and see what I can adjust to make it more interactive. I know I want to be the best instructor I can be, so, I appreciate the information and encouragement of this course to shake things up in a good way!
