By the end of the first day of class, I will strive to have my students know where this course is going and how they will get there, and that the whole class is now familiar with each other and myself.
I learned how important it is create a syllabus and course outline. This will set students expectations.
I learned that as an Educator I must be a teacher, manager, and a cheerleader all in one. Also, there is a different between soft and hard skills and it is important to prepare students for both.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
