There are many applications that ChatGPT can be used for.  Practice questions for exams, foreign language conversations, summarizing long articles or reports.  There are limitations to ChatGPT and there is no substitute for  one-to one teacher student contact.  It needs to be used together.

ChatGPT can be used to enhance many learning possibilities in the classroom.  You need to be vigilant to make sure that the disadvantages of ChatGPT do overtake the good.

 I have learned that Chat GPT needs fact checking.  It can be used to help generate idea, brainstorming and finding relevant information.  You can use it to help write lesson plans or find test questions.

Chat GPT can be a wonderful tool if used properly.  Students tend to overuse it and not use it properly.  Tending to us it to get out of work rather than enhancing the work they are doing.  AI will continue to advance and we need to be prepared to be able to use it and understand the potential risks that come with it. I have used ChatGPT in the classroom to help with study guides, questions, etc.  I think I will continue to find ways that ChatGPT can be used in the classroom.

As AI changes and grows we need to continue to grow and learn with it.  There are a lot of practical applications for AI in education, but it needs to be used ethically and with inclusivity and access to all.

I gained a better understanding of AI and some of things that it is capable of.  There is also a vast amount of information that we do not know.  Implementing into a CTE program will take a lot of time and effort if it is done right. I like the idea of using AI to enhance a program and not replace the things that are already done in the program.

AI is one of the fastest growing uses of technology.  I already use AI to help me in my teaching by having AI help with everyday tasks.  It is good to have a understanding the of the basics of AI and several of the ways that AI can be used in everyday life.  Explaining this to students is a great way to show students the useful ways AI is helpful. Students also have to learn how bias and ethics can come into play using AI.

AI is a rapidly growing tool that has many parts to it.  I have used AI to create trivia questions or quizzes based on the topic that I have been teaching.  There is so much more to AI and I know that I have just touched the surface and want to learn more.  I have learned that there is definitely a wide spectrum of information that I will have to muddle my way through.

Students probably have a greater grasp on technology today.  They just need to be able to use technology in an effective way.  Effective uses also need to be taught so students use technology to enhance their environment.  Technology is just a part of what makes someone effective in their job. They need  to be able to develop all of the skills that are necessary for that.  Technology tools and applications can be helpful on that road.

Teamwork is an essential part of any work environment whether it is in a classroom or the work place.  When using teambuilding skills, students need to focus on working together positively as a team and bring out the best in each other and the best skills each team member has to offer.  It needs to be a place where everyone can grow and be successful.
