Learning the roles and responsibilities of the Title IX Coordinator was interesting. It is good to know how students and employees who believe they are victims of sexual harassment or sexual violence should report to the Title IX Coordinator. Also, students who believe they witnessed sexual violence involving a student or employee can also bring their concerns to the Title IX Coordinator as well.

I learned that Title IX and VAWA are meant to protect students and employees. I learned how VAWA requires institutions to report dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking, in addition to other crime categories that were reported under the Clery Act.
