This module taught me that diversity goes beyond culture and ethnicity. Everyone has different experiences, backgrounds, abilities and perspectives that can affect how they learn. As an instructor, I will be more mindful of these differences, avoid assumptions and create a respectful and inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and supported.

I learned that effective questioning is an important part of teaching because it encourages students to think, participate and explain their understandings. I also learned that asking different types of questions can help keep students engaged and support deeper learning. I will use more open-ended questions in my classroom and give students enough time to think before answering.

I learned that effective classroom management is about creating a respectful, positive enviorment where adult learners feel motivated in involved. I plan to use clear expectations, encouragement and collaboration to help students stay engaged and take responsibility for their learning.

I learned that effective dicipline with adult learners should be respectful, proactive and focused on clear expectations. I plan to address issues calmly, give students some autonomy and encourage accountability rather than relying on punishment.

I learned that technology can make learning more engaging and interactive. I plan to use videos, online activities and quizzes to keep students involved and help make lessons easier to understand.

Hi Adrian, for myself I can say I was very engaged in visual and Kinesthetic. This has continued right into my adult years as well.

As educators, what are some strategies you use to keep students engaged and participating when they seem tired, distracted or uninterested in class? I would love to hear what has worked well for others.

Effective assesments should correctly measure what students have been taught and understand. I will use different assesment methods in my class to check student learning and provide helpful feedback.
