Universal design can be very useful and accommodating to anyone with a disability even though it is not required 

I learned that we can provide accommodation for any student with any kind of disability 

I learned that students with disabilities are allowed to receive accommodations due to section 504 and the ADA

One thing I learned about FERPA challenges is that protecting student privacy can be complicated

I learned that FERPA has specific rules about when student information can and cannot be shared.

One thing I learned is that FERPA compliance is everyone's responsibility, not just the school's administration.

I learned that this information should only be shared with authorized people. 

I gained a deeper understanding of how proactive education and awareness programs help create safer campuses.

I now have a clearer understanding of how schools are required to handle allegations of sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.
