In this module, the most important aspect is breaking the paradigm of in-person classes and making a shift toward an online course structure; it is not merely a matter of transferring content, but of adapting it using techniques focused on student learning, while also seeking to boost engagement so that students derive the greatest possible benefit from their studies.

In this module, I learned that a combination of strategies and methods must be continuously evaluated and adjusted throughout the course. Since some students may fall behind or fail to fully grasp the material, it is crucial for us as teachers to identify these issues and provide the necessary support to help them catch up with the rest of the group. Additionally, there are methodologies we can apply to boost class interaction and encourage participation from the entire group.

The differences between synchronous and asynchronous courses lie in the setup the institution wishes to implement; having participants across different time zones necessitates an asynchronous approach, whereas a shared timeframe for activities requires a synchronous one. Crucially, communication regarding course updates and objectives must remain clear, and information should be centralized; furthermore, the course design must be intuitive to maximize student engagement and ensure learning objectives are met.

There are many options available when selecting the technology to use in our classes; it is important to understand the course's objectives and the institution's guidelines in order to choose the best tool. This goes hand in hand with facilitating instruction and ensuring that students interact with, understand, and correctly replicate the information being presented. In my work, I intend to examine the application (LMS) in depth to get the most out of it.

This is the most interesting module I have read, covering the various ways to store information regarding student interactions, as well as methods for communicating with and counseling students. Most impressive are the strategies for managing undesirable behavior; since online courses can embolden students to lash out at peers or even the instructor, one must consider various options to maintain a proper classroom environment. Strategies to minimize student attrition are also crucial. I plan to apply these insights to my new responsibilities at the start of the semester.

What I learned from the module is that the choice between synchronous and asynchronous formats depends on the conditions under which the course is conducted; both have pros and cons for students, but the goal is to manage them effectively and adapt the approach to the specific type of course being taught—while also maintaining constant contact with the students.

The importance of having a presence in online courses seems most appropriate to me. I've been in other situations where there's no engagement if the "camera isn't on" in guided courses. Students' attention is easily lost. So, getting to know them through their biographies seems like a great strategy that I will implement.

I am just starting out in the process of online teaching, but what I have learned so far is that you need to take the time to get to know the platform you will be using in order to provide the best service to your students. It is also important to have as much information as possible about the course structure and key details, such as grading. I plan to put this into practice right now, as I am about to undergo training on the platform we will be using for teaching.
