This is Lorena Samuel, Business Instructor, I often find myself exploring the many options to improve my instructional style... what would make this class better? How can i instruct this class in a way the students will feel engaged and happy to be there?

After this ED 101 class, I realized there are many options. Taking classes is one, when in the middle of the program the class needs a shift, came up with other direct solutions.

I like asking the student, what would you like to do in class different than what we have been doing so far? I ask them to think a time in the past when they really learned a concept and they felt confident about it. That triggers ideas and they share openly. Since the new assignments, or tasks or style is realted to a memory of them and recalls actual learning, that particular new style works to improve that one particular class.
