Forced

I do not like being forced to participate in blogs or forums. I do not learn much form this.

I totally agree.  It's probably the ONLY thing I didn't like about these courses! :(((

Kimberly & Jaime,

When I was put in the position of "Do or Die", I hated the idea of the blogs and forums myself.  The jury is still out on that call.  What I do want to comment on is this:     By posting on the site you already "HAVE" gotten involved.  This was the whole idea of the forums & blogs.  You get to blow-off steam, make critical remarks, and generally "Let it all hang-out."  The good part of this exercise, is that others,  that may have "Wanted" to express opinions such as yours, didn't reach out and grab the opportunity by the horns.  And therefore, I say, "Thanks for jumping-in".  I've only spent a minimum of time in the forums & blogs - - - but - - - it gave me the opportunity to see how everyone else was feeling in respect to both the courses, and their own particular styles.  But, let's be more specific.  I only have a "Bent" for one thing in these open-air discussions & commentaries.  It's the plain & simple fact that something needs to be done to keep me (and everyone else who doesn't want them) from getting replies or posts that relate to "Nothing" worth talking about, such as their pet fish, or, a "Do you like pickles, too?"

All that being said, maybe you can capitalize on your pet-peeves, and put the ball in motion to affect a change in how these are handled & monitored.  An opportunity is an opportunity!  As I say to my students, "OK, it's a reality.  Now, what are you going to do with it?  How can you utilize it for your own benefit?  What kind of lemonaide are you going to make from it?  Or are you just going to kick it aside?"  I guess you'll both have to decide for yourselves.

I may, or may not get used to being here, and I may get disgusted from time to time, but, look at it from this point of view - I haven't actually met either of you - but we do have some things in common.  And now, I won't forget about either of you.  So, go ahead, contribute some more.  There's probably others out there who want to weigh-in, but they've been shy.  As was said in the movie, Casablanca,  "This could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship".  Thanks, again, it was good to hear a "Real" opinion voiced
