The use of calendars are very helpful, as well as the timelines. Mnay people do both. The most important thing is to review them daily and when possible, stay away from performing other tasks that were never placed in the calendar or timeline. When we get a request from upper management or even from a co-worker, usually we will work on the request and forget about what is really our priority. Being focused at all times and following through with the tasks we have on our calendars the day we have set as a deadline, is the real challenge. Focus!!!!!
